Harriet Klausner

An early "review" of my novel Wicked Things can be found at: http://www.alternative-worlds.com/2007/05/02/wicked-things/

I use quotation marks because if you Google the name of the reviewer, Harriet Klausner, you will find a great deal of discussion about who she is and how she goes about her work of reading and reviewing, the most entertaining of which I found was at the Dayton Daily News website.  Some of it is pretty funny.

In the case of my book, there is enough in her review to indicate that she gave Wicked Things at least a cursory scan, as she mentions things that could not be picked up from the jacket or advance material, and her comment about the ending might be fair enough to some readers. Her remark "Apparently the book also contains a second tale that this reviewer has not read" is very curious; I don't know how she could see a copy of the novel without the accompanying novella, Scramburg, USA. Anyhow, thanks for the nice bits.
